NiTP Oxford are working with a company who have an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful area of Oxfordshire in a small but friendly team as a web development apprentice. Daily responsibilities will include developing sites and web apps alongside our senior developer. Roles and responsibilities may include elements of graphic design and database and server administration, as well as programming. (Full training and support will be provided as part of the 12 month apprenticeship) Training will be at our NiTP Centre based in Oxford Successful candidates will be expected to attend the centre for up to 12 weeks in the 12 month programme and therefore must be able to travel to and from Oxford. The apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms. The qualifications consist of: · Edexcel Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web and Telecoms · L3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence · L3 Extended Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles · Level 2 Functional Skills ICT, Communications & Application of Number (if applicable) You should have at least 5 G.C.S.E Grades (C and above) or equivalents, including Maths and English. The costs of your Apprenticeship training are funded by the government depending on your age. For eligible 16-18 year olds the programme is fully funded. Graduates, or anyone who has already completed a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in IT will not be eligible for funding for this apprenticeship so please do not apply. The successful apprentice will have a strong desire to work in the IT Industry and also have strong IT skills and meet the apprenticeship entry requirements.
